  • olive oil 1 tbsp

  • green pea texturized vegetable protein 125g
  • oat flour 1 cup
  • maple syroup 1 tbsp
  • vegg egg replacement 3 tbsp
  • tomate frito 250 ml
  • italian spice mix 1 tbsp
  • soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • meatball spice mix 2 tbsp


Prepare 3 cups of boiling vegetable broth and soak the green pea protein for 15 minutes. In a meanwhile chop onion into the pieces and saute it on frying pan till yellow and soft. Add half cup of cold water to the egg replacement and stir carefully so powder will dissolve into water.

Heat the oven up to 220°C.

When onion is ready, mix together with egg replacement, flour, pea protein adding also meatballs spice, salt, olive oil and maple syrup. Stir confidently until you will see all ingredients distributed equally. Using your bare hands squeeze the water out of your mix. Sprinkle some flour on a plate and start forming small balls - with the help of flour. Put them to oven and bake prepared balls for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile mix on frying pan tomate frito with a glass of water and Italian spices. Warm up till hot, almost make it boil and leave on minimal fire.

When balls are ready, baked to brown and yellow color add them to the tomato sauce on the pan and mix together. Ready to serve!
